Prince is launching a fan subscription service that will offer exclusive music, video, lyrics, artwork, photos and much more – all for a yearly price of $77.

At, subscribers will also have access to tickets for live shows, footage from previous concerts and exclusive information about private or secret shows.

The $77 subscription may also include instant access to live streaming performances from his Los Angeles home — complete with song requests — and a vast array of previously unreleased music, but this aspect of the service has not been confirmed, reports Reuters.

The site is scheduled to go live on March 24 and will give paid members the ability to download his two new albums, “LOtUSFLOW3R” and “MPLSoUND,” as well as his collaboration with new artist Bria Valente entitled “Elixer,” for free and ahead of their March 29 retail release.

To promote the new online destination, the rock icon will perform three different sets March 24 at three still-undisclosed locations with three separate bands. Details for the shows will be unveiled at the new site in the coming days.

As previously reported, Prince is scheduled to hold down a three-night stand on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” March 25-28 to promote his new releases.

Six months after Kanye West’s infamous run-in with photogs at Los Angeles International Airport, prosecutors have filed three misdemeanor charges against the rapper for his role in the incident.

West faces battery, grand theft and vandalism charges over the videotaped destruction of a photographer’s camera.

West faces two and a half years in jail if convicted.

West was arrested at LAX several days after performing at the MTV Video Music Awards in September. shot video that showed West breaking the flash of a photographer’s camera inside a terminal, and his manager breaking the camera itself and accosting TMZ’s videographer:

Spike Lee’s “Kobe Doin’ Work,” a telepic capturing a day in the life of Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant, will have its world premiere next month during the Tribeca Film Festival before its May debut on ESPN.

During last year’s playoffs, Lee and his cinematographer, Matthew Libatique, spent the day with the NBA standout. With unlimited access to Bryant before, during and after the game, the result is a definitive portrait of one of the sport’s greatest athletes.

The April 25 bow is part of the Tribeca/ESPN Sports Film Festival. Following its premiere, “Kobe Doin’ Work” will be televised Saturday, May 16, at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN/ESPNHD.

“We are proud to kick off the Tribeca/ESPN Sports Film Festival with a documentary showcasing not only Spike Lee’s fervent love of basketball, but our collective commitment to great storytelling,” said Keith Clinkscales, senior vice president ESPN content development. “‘Kobe Doin’ Work’ and the entire sports festival slate speak to the power of film and sports to inspire, motivate and transform.”

Seven more sports-themed films will screen during the festival’s April 22 – May 3 run in lower Manhattan.

Mary J. Blige and Universal Records have been cleared of all wrongdoing in a copyright infringement lawsuit filed against them in January.

Leonard Jones and James White had claimed Blige’s 2001 hit single, “Family Affair,” had lyrics similar to a demo track the two produced called “Party Ain’t Crunk.”

According to, the plaintiffs failed to provide enough substantial evidence, forcing the judge to dismiss the case.

The Queen of Hip Hop/Soul sold over 4 million copies of “Family Affair” worldwide. The song remained on the Billboard’s Hot 100 for six weeks.
