Tyson and Spicer

Tyson and Spicer

Just two weeks after Mike Tyson lost his four-year-old daughter Exodus in a tragic accidental death, the former boxer has reportedly married his girlfriend Lakiha Spicer in a secret ceremony in Las Vegas.

The owner of the La Bella Wedding Chapel at the Las Vegas Hilton hotel-casino told The Associated Press on Tuesday that the one-time heavyweight champion and his bride exchanged vows at about 10 p.m. Saturday night in a short, private ceremony.

According to Radar Online, Tyson and Spicer took out a marriage license on Saturday and got married later that evening at the La Bella Wedding Chapel in the Las Vegas Hilton.

Spicer has reportedly been helping Tyson grieve the death of his youngest child, who died in May after she was injured in her Phoenix home when she either slipped or put her head in the loop of a cord hanging under a treadmill’s console and was suffocated.

Tyson shares two children with his second wife Monica Turner, and has five other children from other relationships.

Obama Girls

BBC News has a full account of how Michelle Obama and her two daughters spent their Monday in London.

The jam-packed day included a visit to the set of the new “Harry Potter” movie at North London’s Pinewood Studios, a post-election promise kept to Malia and Sasha by Potter himself, actor Daniel Radcliffe.

The trio also visited the Houses of Parliament and the historic clock tower and its Big Ben bell, according to the BBC.

Mrs. Obama also made time to see Sarah Brown, the wife of Prime Minster Gordon Brown – someone she got to know well during her last visit to London back in April.

The day concluded with dinner at The Audley on Mount Street in Mayfair, where the kids ate fish and chips while their mother opted for sirloin steak, say the pub’s owners, Punch Pub Company.

“We were all speechless when they walked in,” said Cintia Pinto, 24, who served the first lady’s table in the pub’s private dining room upstairs. “I couldn’t believe it. But they were all very friendly, smiling and laughing.”

“They made us feel calm. The girls were so sweet and polite. They thanked us every time we brought them something. It was a real honor,” says Pinto.

Before long a crowd gathered outside, clamoring for a view of the special visitors.

“We’ve had other famous people coming in,” manager John Gohery said, “but nothing on this scale.”

Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson will reportedly stay at the Foxbury Manor in Chistlehurst, Kent during his 50-night concert run at London’s O2 Arena, and at least one tabloid claims he’s trying to turn it into a smaller version of his old Neverland Ranch.
“Michael is quite particular – he’s missed living in Neverland since debts forced him to get rid of it four years ago,” a source told UK newspaper The Sun. “He thinks he can recreate a bit of its magic in Kent and concert bosses are happy to indulge him.”

The singer has apparently told promoters AEG that he wants a “funfair” installed on the grounds of the $30 million estate, as well as a bowling alley.

“He loves bowling, so he has insisted an alley be created. And he’s never lost his love of funfairs, so has demanded one be built in the grounds,” said the source. “Michael will be bringing his kids with him throughout the run. Prince Michael, Paris Michael and Prince Michael II are all under 12 years old, so should really enjoy all the rides and amusements their father will provide for them.”

Tiger Woods

Tiger Woods

EA’s Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 video game shipped to stores in North America yesterday, less than 24 hours after the golfer scored yet another thrilling come-from-behind victory at a PGA tournament.
The latest version features innovative online modes, an all-new character progression mode called Tournament Challenge where you can recreate golf history, and a true sports motion experience on the Wii, along with a host of other enhancements.

“We are extremely thrilled to present Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 to gamers and golf fans alike and we feel that the game really delivers an inside-the-ropes experience for everyone,” said Executive Producer Mike Taramykin. “Thanks to our new and exciting relationship with the USGA and with the 2009 U.S. Open at Bethpage Black just around the corner, players will get the opportunity to see how their online virtual scores match-up against the real-life live leaderboard in our all-new EA Sports Live Tournaments feature.”

On Sunday, Woods broke out of a four-way tie and won the Memorial with a 7-under 65 to cap off a dramatic comeback.

“I knew I could do this,” Woods said after birdies on the final two holes gave him a one-shot victory. “I was close to winning, but the game wasn’t quite there when I really needed it on Sunday. I rectified that.”
