Fox News host and supreme tea bagger Glenn Beck, the man who famously called President Obama a racist, thinks GOP nominee John McCain would have been worse for the country had he won the election. [Watch clip below.]
“How about this? I think John McCain would have been worse for the country than Barack Obama. How’s that?,” he tells CBS’s Katie Couric for her new Web series @KatieCouric, which premiered Tuesday at 7 p.m. on

Beck, who called the Arizona senator a “weird progressive like Theodore Roosevelt,” said he may have even voted for Sen. Clinton over McCain had she become the Democratic nominee.

“I can’t believe I’m saying this, I think I would have much preferred her as president and may have voted for her against John McCain,”

Couric’s recurring Web cast, according to the New York Daily News, will feature one-on-one interviews with top newsmakers from the worlds of politics, business, entertainment and more. is also working with Facebook to host an online video chat for users to speak directly with Katie following the Web casts.
