Learn How to Sell to the City; Business Opportunity Fair for Minority/Women Owned Businesses Next Week

Thursday, October 29, 2015, the City of Minneapolis department of Community Planning and Economic Development (CPED) will host a Minority- and Women- Owned Business Opportunities Fair for small and medium sized businesses interested in selling their products and services to the enterprise. The City hopes that this event will help more small and medium sized businesses learn about the City’s procurement process and sign up as potential vendors for products and services. The City is looking to increase its vendor base for services and products in categories such as office supplies; professional and clerical services; IT hardware, software, and consulting; catering services; and large- and small-scale construction services to name just a few areas.

The Minority- and Women- Owned Business Opportunities Fair will kick off at 3:00pm. Presentations by City department leaders begin at 3:30pm. There is no cost to attend, but pre-registration is encouraged. To register visit http://www.minneapolisbusinessfair.com.
