This time of year can make you frantic, frenzied and frazzled. In the midst of the shopping, wrapping and visiting, your stress level may be soaring. Here are three suggestions to get you through the season.

  1. Knowing the holidays are temporary;
  2. Increasing your awareness of gratitude, what you’re grateful for, and
  3. Helping and doing something for others.

These are three ways to stay sane this time of year. Remember to smile because it’s hard to be miserable when you’re laughing. If you feel the tension rising, take few deep belly breaths and let them out slowly. Even Navy Seals use this technique to gain control. You can too!
