Normally when we think about forgiveness, we think about making a situation right for someone who may have caused us harm at some level. As we forgive, we often forget that we also need to forgive ourselves as well. Doing so completes the forgiveness loop. Here five things to remember in forgiving ourselves. 1. Know why we need to forgive ourselves; 2. Accept that our mistakes don’t make us bad people. 3. Don’t be afraid to start new; 4. Learn from our mistakes; and 5. Move on.
